MA Tourism Management - Top Up
Summary
One of the most buoyant employment sectors, the tourism industry is becoming increasingly demanding in terms of the qualifications it requires from staff. This course is fully endorsed by the Institute of Travel and Tourism and provides excellent vocational development for those aspiring to management positions in the industry, or to operate their own business within the industry. The course aims to take a strategic perspective throughout, emphasising the application of business and management theory and developing key ideas and concepts appropriate to the tourism industry. It uses case studies and explores topical issues extensively to illustrate new ideas, concepts and trends within the industry.

On your chosen subject related to Tourism Management. To be awarded the Masters degree, you must complete ALL Postgraduate Diploma modules successfully, as well as the modules in Research Methods and the Thesis
Entry criteria
Applicants will need a first degree in tourism, or equivalent professional qualification, together with a minimum of 800 hours work experience in the tourism sector. Applicants without the above but possessing significant relevant work experience are invited to apply. Applications are considered on an individual basis and applicants may be invited for interview.
